What’s in my Makeup Bag?

It’s something about knowing what’s the content in someone’s bag. We like to compare, see what are we missing out in, feel some sort of happiness when we share the same items, update our own bags. Ever wondered why?

You might already know me or you are new, so I thought by revealing a little piece of me could be kind of welcoming to you. The makeup bag in question is from Victoria’s Secret. I’m afraid that’s unavailable now as I got that three years ago! It’s definitely going strong. I got it because of the colour and the polka dots. I’m not a very bright-coloured kind of an individual and saw this as a nice pop of colour. And now for the contents of that bag…

(starting from the top row, left to right): 4711 Original Eau de Cologne tissues, Hansaplast & Nexcare plasters, sanitary pad, Primark compact mirror, Crabtree & Evelyn Iris Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy, Bath & Body Works Ocean for Men Sanitizing Hand Gel, Axe Brand Medicated Oil, Fresh Hesperides Grapefruit Eau de Parfum Rollerball, Sebamed Lip Defense SPF 30, Lord & Berry 20100 Crayon Lipstick, hair grips & hair ties.

Except for my lip colour that changes quite frequently, everything else remains as they are definitely my essentials. Here are mini reviews on some products: the cologne tissues are super refreshing, hand lotion has a lovely scent and very moisturising, hand sanitizer is very manly (as it is for men – very A&F) but it’s fresh and not sickly sweet, the rollerball perfume is light, and the lip balm is not my favourite as it leaves a shine but it works though. There will be a post coming up on ointments/medicated oils later this week and I will share more then.

What are your essentials?
