Spinach-Pear Smoothie Recipe

I noticed that my food section was lagging a little behind. While it’s good to be healthy as much as we can, it’s December and we have all these gatherings and parties that are going on – so it’s okay to just enjoy. Or just the feelings of festive. But the least we can do is inject a healthy bit here and there. I love me a tasty green smoothie! This gives a very nice one big serving.


  • 1/2 cup of greek yoghurt
  • 1 pear
  • 15 grapes (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • a good handful spinach
  • 1/2 lemon juice

You guessed it.

  • Blend it all.

Tip: Always add the ‘liquidy’ items to the bottom of the blender first to have an easier blend.
